We view Pre-Grade children as competent, capable, creative learners with an abundance of imagination and curiosity about the world they live in. They approach the Pre-Grade year with experience, wisdom, hope and enthusiasm in order to make meaning of this transitional and important year just before they enter primary school.

We have set up our curriculum using an innovative structure to cater to this age group. Children at this age group are very inquisitive, ready to take challenges, loves to get them selves messy and learn through trial and error activities. We at Pebbles, have understood the need perfectly at this age group and made our learning activities in such a manner to scaffold children’s learning by knitting the developmental domains.

Enquiry Teaching and Learning is a unique approach that encourages children to be curious about subject topics and ask questions that will lead to an enquiry exploration. Each of our lessons start off with the educator asking the children questions and then taking in their responses to lead the class into an enquiry teaching and learning process. Upon observing the children’s interests, the educator will plan lessons that allow the children to explore new ideas while developing their thinking skills.

To build a solid foundation in mathematics and science during the early years, our program focuses on helping your child build an understanding of numerical concepts and science concepts. Your child will be introduced to early math through physical grouping, counting exercises, musical pre-numeracy activities as well as hands-on activities. Science concepts would be delivered through hands on experiments.

Children of this age group are fascinated using all sorts of writing material, therefore we proved a variety of writing material to enforce their early writing skills. Pebbles ensure to build memorable learning experiences to treasure for a life time.
